A bike path is the ultimate litmus test for whether a person is capable of self-governing.

To not park on a bike path is an easy, convenient task and one which we all recognize as the correct, appropriate thing to do. To not park on a bike path is objectively right. There are no situations other than dire emergencies, in which a person is not able to not park on a bike path. Simultaneously, parking on bike path is not prosecuted. Therefore the bike path presents itself as the apex example of whether a person will do what is right without being forced to do it.

No one will punish you for parking on a bike path, no one will fine you, or kill you for parking on a bike path, you gain nothing not parking on a bike path. You must not park on a bike path out of the goodness of your own heart. You must not park on a bike path because it is the right thing to do. Because it is correct. A person who is unable to do this is no better than an animal, an absolute savage who can only be made to do what is right by threatening them with a law and the force that stands behind it.

A bike path is what determines whether a person is a good or bad member of society.

Plan? Ich schlaf was früher, fahr morgens wenn es noch geht ins Büro, sortier' da noch ein paar Tickets zum Monatsende und hock mich danach innen Space bis wieder Kühl ist.

23:00 Abgestürzter Server macht Dinge langsam (~1.5 Stunden)

01:00 Stromausfall mit USV-Störung, Notabschaltung wegen Blindflug und folgendem Trafo-Brand auf nem Nachbargelände (~2 Stunden. Goodbye Nacht)

03:30 Stromausfall (~15 Minuten. Again? Muss das?)

08:00 Semi-Unangekündigte Bauarbeiten im Gebäude, abschließend eine runde Spleißerei (~1-2 Stunden mit Pausen. Technically war es angekündigt - vor 5 Jahren. Man ist erst heute Spontan dazu gekommen)

17:00 Stromausfall mit Störung Notstromsystem (~1 Stunde mit ungeplanter Anfahrt - Rad bei 40+°C macht Spaß. Vor Allem wenn Leute mit PKW alle Radwege zuparken um sich 2m Fußweg zu sparen)

Und während ich hier tippe, raucht die Mastodon-Instanz ab, weil btrfs mal wieder schluckauf hat und ein gelöschtes subvolume nicht real löscht, sondern nur in der Todo-Liste hält.

Also ich bin für heute dann auch langsam durch. Immerhin: Effektiver Ausfall der zu merken war, war nur ~30 Minuten.
